Worked across three backend teams at ONE Pay, a US-based fintech. Co-built from scratch a multi-channel communications engine handling 200K–500K weekly messages across SMS, Push, and Email, used platform-wide for campaigns, compliance messaging, OTPs, and risk alerts. Also contributed to the Risk team's fraud detection systems.

04/How I Work

Most architects hand off. I stay.

I started in enterprise SAP systems, not because it was glamorous, but because it taught me something most developers never learn: how companies actually work. Production floors. Finance teams. Logistics managers. C-suite decisions. I saw how broken processes break software, and how good architecture quietly holds everything together. That perspective never left. It's why I don't just design systems. I design systems that understand the business they're serving.

DESIGN

Architecture first. Every system I build starts with a diagram, not a file. The decisions made before the first line of code are the ones that matter most.

BUILD

I ship working systems: production code, the docs to run them, and the edge cases that only show up under real load. Not slides and walk-away handoffs.

OWN

I stay involved through delivery. If something breaks at 2am, I want to know. That's not extra. That's the job.

I'm Faharid. Software architect based in Quito, Ecuador. 13 years building systems that other people depend on: from SAP enterprise internals to multi-channel fintech platforms to AI evaluation frameworks. I founded HEX TECH in 2021. Built it to $80k ARR with a small team and minimal capital. Designed the entire XONE product ecosystem from architecture to deployment. Now I'm focused on what I do best: taking complex technical problems end-to-end for teams that need ownership, not just execution. I work in English and Spanish. I take 1-2 focused projects at a time. I also do staff augmentation.
